1g Heartleaf Skullcap

Heartleaf skullcap is a wonderful native plant that you can plant and forget and still receive blooms on blooms every year without ever thinking about it. It has a tuberous root and likes to take over a whole space but is easy to manage as it's not too aggressive. Most years we get 2 flushes of blooms, one in Spring and one in late Fall. Pollinators love this plant and if you sit quickly to observe you might even see a hummingbird!

Watering: Does well on little to no extra watering, will die back at the height of summer sun but comes back in fall with the rain
